The Path of Power
Published in Paperback by Simon & Schuster (Paper) (October, 1992)
Authors: Sun Bear, Wabun Wind, Edward B. Weinstock, Sun Bear, and Barry Weinstock
Average review score:

Sun Bear, a visionary
There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Sun Bear and his books. Seen as a new age huckster by some, he was also seen as a visionary by others. He shared Native American spirituality when it was NOT cool to do it. He believed that it was time for all people, regardless of color, to work together to save themselves and Mother Earth.
This book is his story, and it is well worth the read, whether or not you agree with his ideas.

Peef and His Best Friend
Published in Hardcover by Waldman House Press (June, 2003)
Authors: Tom Hegg and Warren Hanson
Average review score:

Peef's Perfect for Families
My boys (6 and 8) and I loved the newest Peef book -- that warm-hearted multi-colored bear they love so well continues his adventures in this tale. This time, Peef has to deal with school, new friends, disappointment, and forgiveness -- quite a load for anyone, but because Peef has the great big heart (and "peef" squeak) that he does, he's equal to the task. The lively colors and clever drawings throughout -- including animated dinosaur bushes -- kept my kids enchanted. They also liked the rhyming language that makes the book flow along well. So if you're looking for a book -- birthday, Christmas, start of school, or pleasure -- that helps kids express feelings they may not be able to verbalize, this Peef book helps. My six-year-old pointed to one of the pictures and exclaimed, "That's what happened to me!" You'll get some great conversations started at your house after you read this book to your kids.

Peek-A-Boo Teddy (Lift and Look Board Books)
Published in Hardcover by Grosset & Dunlap (October, 1993)
Author: Lisa Kopper
Average review score:

peek a boo teddy
The most wonderful book for a new little reader. My 13th month old daughter can not get enough of it. On each page she lifts the flap with a squeal of delight. Once she gets to the end she turns the book and starts over again, of coarse with my narration every single time! She recognizes the other objects on each page and points to the same objects in her room. This book gives her many opportunities to learn new words.

What a beautiful book!
I don't think I've ever seen a guidebook with so much fabulous photography. Pelicans to Polar Bears certainly sets a new standard in the design of guide books to wildlife watching in Canada and the United States.
